WHAT IS YOGA?
Yoga is a Science based upon experiential learning. The word Yoga means to yoke, bind, unite, or make whole. Patanjali, respected author of the Yoga Sutras says, “Yoga is the cessation of the fluctuations of the mind.” It is nothing more and nothing less, yet not simple to attain. Therefore, Patanjali clearly defines an eight limbed path (ashtanga) that forms the structural framework for attaining this state of peace, wholeness and well-being.
